University of Wolverhampton, Faculty of Arts is looking to recruit a new External Examiner for the following Undergraduate course:

•	FD (Arts) Music Performance Technologies (South Staffs College)

The Undergraduate courses are run by the University in conjunction with a partner institution, South Staffordshire College, at their Tamworth Campus.

The course makes significant use of Pure Data in the creation of digital instruments and signal processors, and so familiarity with visual music programming languages will be advantageous. We would particularly welcome applications from those with an HE in FE background.

The School of Performing Arts has an impressive history shaped by contemporary arts practice. Based in the landmark Performance Hub at Walsall Campus the School not only offers industry-standard equipment and magnificent rehearsal and performance spaces, but also boasts All-Steinway status, one of the first universities in the UK to do so.

The External Examiner appointment is required immediately and will run for 4 years.

The University of Wolverhampton will make the final decision on any appointment and will need to ensure there are no conflicts of interest with existing examiners.
