Dear colleagues,

I would be very pleased if you could circulate the following announcement actively among your Master students:

The University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland plans a Winter School in Davos for Master students on the subject of "Competitiveness and Economic Development in Firms, Clusters, Regions, & Nations". Students will gain an excellent insight into the concept of competitiveness from 09-16 February 2019 in the Swiss ski resort of Davos, where the World Economic Forum invites leaders from business, politics and society from around the world every January “to define priorities and shape global, industry and regional agendas” (https://www.weforum.org/events/world-economic-forum-annual-meeting).

Through case studies, students learn about the influences on the competitiveness of companies, clusters, regions and countries. The programme also includes a visit to the Davos congress centre and excursions and discussions with local companies and experts on the topics of tourism and industrial development in the Alps. Last but not least, it also makes it possible to combine study and winter sports and spend ski days on the extensive Davos ski slopes.

Many thanks and kind regards!
