Liz Goldwyn has been collecting vintage fashion since she was 13, because,
quite simply, she loves the thrill of the hunt. The author and filmmaker
sourced her first designer bargain – a cream satin skirt from Courrèges for
under $20 – in the garment district close to her Boston school. But it
wasn’t until she took a job in Sotheby’s New York fashion department at 17
that she realised the value of the pieces she had accidentally acquired.
