Two Postdoc Research Scholar positions (1-3 years) are available in M. Hassan group (Attomicroscopy lab) (https://hassan.lab.arizona.edu/ ) at the Physics Department, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will join Prof. Mohammed Hassan group to work in one of the following research projects: 

 

The first research project, funded by Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, is focusing on developing and utilizing the attosecond electron imaging facility for imaging the electron motion in the real time. The second project scope is to envisage the ultrafast dynamics in 2D material. 

 

The Postdoc Research Scholar position requires a highly motivated and dynamic scientist with a doctoral degree in Physics or Chemistry with a strong publication record.

 

The successful candidate should have experience in Ultrafast Laser systems, Electron Microscope, Electron diffraction, X-ray diffraction and or materials science. The applicant should have a strong and excellent scripting and programming skills.
