medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

I'm still trying to track down a conversation which I thought we had on this list some time ago about 'anges de tendresse', angels holding back Jesus's hair as he dies on the Cross? There are several examples in Brittany and I'm wondering if they crop up elsewhere. Has anyone seen references?

Best wishes

Maddy
