Dear Colleagues,

Scholars may be interested in a series I'm curating on Henry Jenkins' website Confessions of an Aca-Fan on horror, exploitation and the gothic. The first two instalments are now live (links below), featuring an introduction written by myself, and the first part of an interview with David Church (author of Grindhouse Nostalgia and Dispoable Passions: Vintage Pornography and the Material Legacies of Adult Cinema). We have a great line-up and the series will continue over the next two months or so.

With that in mind, if scholars are interested in writing an essay or participating in written interviews for Confessions of an Aca-Fan, be it on cult, horror, exploitation, or the gothic, please email myself at this address ([log in to unmask]). We'd also be interested in proposals about other artefacts and practices of pop culture (and beyond). Please feel free to email with expressions of interest.
