Hi everyone, On the 3rd of December, the University of Edinburgh, the National Library of Scotland and the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) will host a special day-long IIIF Showcase and workshops. This free event will provide those new to IIIF and those experienced with the framework and its tool a first hand and hands-on day filled with plenty of opportunities for discussions around sharing digital heritage collections with the world. • Further details: https://iiif.io/event/2018/edinburgh/showcase/ • Registration via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/iiif-edinburgh-showcase-tickets-51020491664 We are doing this event slightly differently than the previous IIIF Showcase events with a morning of introductory presentations before splitting into groups in the afternoon. The afternoon sessions include museums, archives, digital humanities, a hands-on IIIF workshop and an in-depth specification workshop. Please pass the details of this event to any that might find it interesting.
