Athens (if you use it) had an outage on the 1/10/18 too. It coincided with the DawsonEra outage too.

Given the amount of money we pay for some of these, maybe we start asking for some form of compensation for the lost time. I think that some providers do have service level agreements within their T&Cs giving them some leeway on this.

Thanks

Tracey

I am noticing an increasing number of reports of unavailable electronic resources on this list.

As we are being pushed to ditch our paper copies of both journals and books and move towards electronic collections, available whenever needed (in theory), is anyone logging the amount of time that these resources are, in fact, unavailable?

At least if they are on our shelves they can be accessed when systems are down.

Best Wishes

Hello All,

Are there any institutions having issues accessing Dawsonera this afternoon? We’re having pages time-out or taking longer to load then they should. I’ve logged a job with Dawson’s Support Team so hopefully they’ll be able to get back to us as soon as they know more.

With best wishes

James
