Okay, I got the fslinstaller working! 1) I switched from zsh to bash 2) I had been getting the fink installed python in /sw, so I insured that I was getting /usr/bin/python instead: >/usr/bin/python fslinstaller.py Now it is downloading. Sorry for my confusion.
