The links appear not to be working (at least not for me).

In any case, do you mean 1 such 148 by 148 per subject, or just one overall
distance matrix between 148 subjects? In the latter case, you could use
something as MDMR (search online for "multivariate distance matrix
regression"). There are a couple of interesting papers, some using imaging
data.
