Once we have registered the students, and they appear on edexcelonline, we do a simple copy and paste into an excel worksheet and upload this onto our intranet. It takes no time at all as you can copy/paste each course. With our change in structure here (and lack of dedicated UNIT-E support) I doubt we will get to use it next year either! This should then import your numbers If you have more than one file and they are numbered 001,002 etc then you will have to rename them by removing the number after the . otherwise the system will not recognise them. So start with the unnumbered file and once you have imported the reg numbers you can rename it as something else if you want to keep it. Then do each of the other files in order. We haven’t received any yet despite the registrations being confirmed on Edexcel on-line last Wednesday. Should these files come automatically through EDI, and how long after the registrations are confirmed? And can you confirm the email address they would come through on if they are sent via email?
