We are currently reviewing our policies regarding SAR’s and a query has been raised about the definition of a health worker and the health data test and how widely this can be applied.
In an NHS setting for instance if a medical secretary/admin support staff input information onto a patients record would their name (personal data) be reasonable to disclose on the basis that they have contributed to the record? It would
be really helpful to have your comments and thoughts on whether there is any legal basis that could be used to justify this.
