Urban Planning, peer-reviewed journal indexed in the Web of Science-ESCI and recently also in Scopus, welcomes article proposals for its thematic issue "Large Urban Developments and the Future of Cities", edited by Efrat Eizenberg (Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Israel).

The intent of this themed issue is to shed light on a relatively new but profoundly influential form of urban development, its history and evolution. Papers are invited to address, among other topics, the impact of large urban developments on urban experience, environment and planning practices. Authors interested in contributing an article to this thematic issue are encouraged to read the full call for papers here. Abstracts are due 31 January 2019.
