On December 12th we will be hosting a one-day workshop at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford. The workshop will mark the culmination of the Wellcome Trust-funded Oxford New Parents project, which investigated the impact of austerity on the caring practices and everyday lives of first-time parents in the city of Oxford. The workshop will start with a brief presentation from the project team sharing their findings, and then will feature two interactive panels, debating wider issues of austerity, care, and everyday life in the city.
