I believe I am up to date with my editorial duties: BTN has two new pieces from Gregor completed and 1 from Brett Byatt on Smart Economics: A Marxist Feminist Critique Re. coordinating: I am waiting for the second review on 'Profits Over Freedom: War, Accumulation, and Dispossession in Syria'. This is late as the reviewer couldn't access the link to the paper over the summer. I then sent it to him as a pdf attachment and have just written to chase him up. I hope things go well. Of course, I have been following correspondence till my back injury and will say now briefly (as I cannot sit up long) that I agree with Paul, Grieg and Phoebe on some important points (and others saying similar things): a. there should be no room for rudeness in any part of the organisation, b. I feel we, as EB members have done much good work including developing articles and thus really setting a good example for reviewing in the current REF culture; bringing in new people...c. I agree Alistair does a wonderful job. I have read the draft protocol and agree with the contents. Please accept my apologies again.
