I thought list members would be interested to know that the next
Genus Digitisation Workshop is now open for registration for 5th December
2018.
Workshops are free to attend for those working in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums sectors, including trainees & volunteers. Our free Digitisation Workshops help organisations gain an understanding of the processes involved
in starting a digitisation project from capture through to serving of the digitised content. Expert independent speakers will talk through how to plan and implement a successful digitisation project. Plus, we will take you on a tour of our own digitisation
studio and show you our equipment and workflow. If you’d like to view the full agenda, you can find it on the Digitisation Workshop

We are also pleased to announce that this workshop will include a presentation by Sarah Saunders from Electric Lane. Sarah Saunders is director of consultancy at Electric Lane and has worked in the commercial image library and heritage
sectors for the last 20 years. She is a specialist in DAM systems, metadata and image keywording and retrieval.
If you know of anyone who is looking to gain some extra knowledge, please feel free to point them towards the
