The University of Bradford is seeking an Archivist. Post is part-time (0.5 FTE) and permanent. Closing date 24 October.
This new role presents an opportunity for a qualified and experienced archivist to take the Special Collections service in new directions in support of University business. Special Collections at the University of Bradford is an innovative,
customer-centred Accredited Archive, home to the University’s own archive, the J.B. Priestley Archive, and other modern collections. The Archivist will provide professional archival expertise and oversight for Special Collections, ensuring that standards of
service to users and collections care are maintained and that legal and contractual obligations are met. It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of managing archive services, offers expertise in collections care and archival metadata management,
and is able to work well as part of a team while managing their own demanding workload.
