The postdoc can possibly be extended by one more year. All candidates with a background in Probability or Mathematical Physics, and interested in working on the mathematical and physical aspects of Statistical Physics and Probability Theory, are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will work in the group of Stanislav Smirnov, Antti Knowles, Yvan Velenik and Hugo Duminil-Copin. He or she will be expected to contribute to the ERC research project of Stanislav Smirnov. The starting salary will be approximately 81'347 CHF per year. The position comes with a light teaching duty. Requirements Candidates must hold a PhD in Mathematics. The selection will be based on the excellence of previous scientific achievements and the quality of the scientific project. Start date The start date will be September 1st 2019.
