Dear all, I'd like to advertise an afternoon workshop "Random Processes and Heavy-tailed Phenomena" happening soon at Durham University, on Wednesday 17th October. The schedule is as follows: 12:45--13:30 Lunch 13:30--14:20 Talk by Andreas Kyprianou (Bath) 14:20--15:10 Talk by Nadia Sidorova (University College London) 15:10--15:40 Tea/coffee 15:40--16:30 Talk by Nicholas Georgiou (Durham) 16:30--17:30 Drinks reception The event will take place in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University. Registration is free but compulsory for catering purposes: please email me ([log in to unmask]) by Wednesday 10th October if you would like to take part.
