Hi all,

I have a duck tibiotarsus, from a Saxon (British) site, that appears to have a congenitally absent supratendinal bridge.

Firstly, has anyone found something like this before?

Secondly, the specimen is slightly smaller than the mallard specimen in our reference collection and the thought occurs to me that this condition may be related to domestication. Does this sound plausible or simply wild speculation?

Best regards,
