Dear colleagues,

Maynooth University is pleased to announce a four-year Athena SWAN Doctoral Fellowship for 2019-22. The focus of the fellowship is an intersectional analysis of gender equality in higher educational institutions and the Fellow will contribute specifically to a University strategy to address the underrepresentation of women from racial, ethnic and cultural minorities in all grades of staff.

This four-year dedicated PhD Bursary will:

·         result in a report on gender inequality as experienced by racial, ethnic and cultural minorities in Irish third level institutions

·         address a lack of data and research into the experience of racial, ethnic and cultural minority staff in Irish third level institutions

The closing date for applications is 5pm, November 30th. Further details and T&C here: https://www.maynoothuniversity.ie/news-events/funded-4-year-athena-swan-phd-scholarship

Feel free to forward this to potential candidates.

Best wishes,

Professor Linda Connolly (Director, Social Sciences Institute and Athena SWAN Chair)
