Dear colleagues, Do any of you have special arrangements for SoTL projects - small-scale usually, perhaps part of a PG CAP - when it comes to ethics applications? Going through the normal process via College ethics application can take quite a long time depending on the time of year etc, and often the full application might not be suitable, especially for a one semester 10 credit course where participants undertake a scholarship of learning & teaching project. Ethics approval is crucial, of course, but has anyone tried/experience with a streamlined process or even with a special SoTL university ethics committee?
