POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER – LASER SPECTROSCOPY/BIOPHYSICS
The Vaiana Lab @ Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar, with expertise in laser spectroscopy and optics, for experimental work on intrinsically disordered proteins. Start date as early as Fall 2018. Project: The candidate will apply unique laser spectroscopy methods developed in our lab, to study Intrinsically Disordered Protein conformational dynamics, binding and phase separation, while working in close collaboration with an international team of experimentalists, theorists and computational groups. Salary and benefit package are competitive. Funding is available from NIH for up to 5 years. The Center for Biological Physics https://cbp.asu.edu/ is a vibrant, multidisciplinary center located in the Physics Department of ASU https://physics.asu.edu/, with access to a large array of state of the art experimental facilities, available through ASU https://cores.research.asu.edu/ and the Biodesign Institute https://biodesign.asu.edu/research/centers.
