Changsha is the capital and most populous city of Hunan province. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains offering excellent sight-seeing and hiking opportunities. It is a major academic center, home to several major universities including Hunan University, Hunan Normal University, Central South University, National University of Defense Technology, and Changsha University of Science and Technology.
