CILIP Rare Books and Special Collections Group - Survey on Rare Book Collection Accreditation
Following on from the successful implementation of the National Archives Archive Accreditation Scheme, professionals who manage Rare Books Collections have started to explore the feasibility of a similar scheme to accredit Rare Books Collections which may sit outside of Archive Services, e.g. in Libraries.
CILIP and TNA invite you to share your views on such a scheme, through the following survey. Your responses will be considered in the shaping of a proposal which will be put to the Archive Accreditation annual board.
