Sharon McMeekin, Head of Training and Skills for the DPC said, 'it is so encouraging to see that new and excellent quality teaching and communications resources continue to be designed by and for the whole community. Through their work, each of the finalists in this category has already contributed a huge amount in our shared quest to maintain continued access to digital objects.'
Before the judges decide on the winners, members of the Digital Preservation Coalition will be invited to cast their vote on each category once all the finalists have been announced. Members will be asked to select their first and second choices for each category and are asked to provide feedback to the finalists. Each Full Member, Associate and Allied Organisation of the DPC may submit one vote.
The member vote will open on Monday 10th September
Finalists will then wait until the prestigious Digital Preservation Awards ceremony at the Amsterdam Museum where winners will be announced in front of their own digital preservation community, friends, family and peers from leading organisations on World Digital Preservation Day.
