We haven't used it yet (I've still not got to grips with Unit E yet), but we have been using the notes field against the student with codes for different AAs and MIS have managed to feed this into the seating, so that any AA codes appear before their cand number and name so I can pull them out first before seating the rest. I then had our MIS team customise the reports I can generate from the data so it can be accessed in different ways; - Full list of all access arrangements - Access arrangements by Series - Access arrangements by Day It works really well for us. She completes all applications online and then enters the approved candidates details into our MIS system (UNIT-e) I download the reports based on entries. All completed folders with approved applications, Form 8's, Data forms etc. and then brought to me and stored in my office. They input AA info into the collge MIS system and we can download reports that tell us who has AAs. It works well. It states in the JCQ adjustment for candidates and learning difficulties book that this is part of their role. Can other colleges let me know if they do this and if so how they received the information from the SENCO of the approved applications.
