Hi Cath,

It's been a while since I used EBS, but when I last came across it (about 12 months ago) there wasn't anywhere built into it to accommodate the storing of Access Arrangements.

While I was at my previous College I did work with our MIS team to reconfigure some of the screens of EBS4 live so it could be accommodated at student/ course level and we build reports around that.

It did take some time to get up and running, but before I left it was working well.

Thanks.

Hi

Is anyone using EBS to record the information on the exam access arrangements and if so what sort of reports are you pulling off.

Hi Tracey

I have found it you can go in under exam explorer and produce a report from there.

Thanks

Hi Karen

I’m not too sure.  If you can then we haven’t any set up from the access arrangements tab.  What reports would you want?

Thanks

Hi Karen

I input the information in the access arrangements tab in the student’s record.  Learning support do fill in the basic details under the exams tab but I put more detailed info under the access arrangements tab.

Copies of the form 8 are stored in the students ProMonitor record.

Thanks

Tracy

Hi Cath

Our learning support department have completed the applications for the past 2 years.  When they complete an application they email me the information and I add the info to our software programme (Prosolution).

It has worked well and is a much better process as I was struggling with the applications with not having any knowledge of the students other than a report!

Thanks

Tracy

Good Morning All

I am determined this year to move the responsibility for making the online applications for JCQ qualifications to the SENCO instead of it being done in our department.  It states in the JCQ adjustment for candidates and learning difficulties book that this is part of their role.

Can other colleges let me know if they do this and if so how they received the information from the SENCO of the approved applications.
