We don’t add the components to the submission for the board. I have some questions that I am hoping some of you pro-solution users can help me with. When we do GCE entries, do we have to attach options available under that entry code to produce a submission to the exam board? I don’t think we do but the chap who completed our training said we had to but never gave any explanation as to why. My understanding is that the exam boards only need the entry codes. My other question is, if we don’t attach the options, would this have any effect on how the rest of the system would work behind the scenes? As we’ve not had any further training on any other parts of the exam bit in prosolution, I am just trying to work out what effect it would have behind the scenes with anything else we can do in the system if we don’t select the options. We have generated a test GCSE submission, selecting the entry codes and the options/components and all of the entry codes and options/components we have selected, have been pulled into our submission. As the options are in the entry file, will the exam board chuck it back to us as an error when we submit it to them through A2C? Any help/advice would be appreciated.
