Dear Colleagues, The London College of Music at the University of West London is seeking to appoint an External Examiner for our newly revalidated BA (Hons) Acting Degree, delivered at our Ealing campus, and our existing BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Media taught at our partner institution at Kingston College, the appointment is effective from October 2018 for 4 years. The successful candidate will have relevant experience of teaching within the subject field to level 6 and above and have a substantial understanding and knowledge of the Performing Arts sector. To avoid conflicts of interest or reciprocity regrettably we are unable to accept applications if you: - are a current external examiner within the University of West London or have been in the previous four years - if you have served a four year term with us previously; - are currently professionally involved with members of the course team; - have been employed within the previous five years by the University or at one of its associate partner institutions The appointment is subject to approval by the relevant University committee and proof of right to work in the UK will be required. Successful applicants will be invited to attend an Induction session.
