Seeking Visiting Lecturer/Assistant Professor
in Disability Studies
The
Disability Studies Program at the University of Toledo (Ohio, USA) invites
applications for a three semester Visiting Lecturer/Assistant Professor
with an expected start
date of January 1, 2019 (the Spring 2019, Fall 2019, and Spring 2020
semesters). Situated within the College of Arts and Letters, the University of Toledo’s
Disability Studies Program is an exciting interdisciplinary program with

We
seek an outstanding scholar and teacher with experience and training in
the social sciences. Disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields sought
include but are not
limited to Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology,
Public Health, Public Policy and Administration, Sociology, and Urban
Studies. Ph.D. or ABD status is required. Applicants must demonstrate
the ability to teach Introduction to Disability
Studies. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from
candidates whose research and teaching incorporate intersectional
analyses; and from candidates with the ability and experience to mentor
first generation college students. Summer teaching
is a possibility.
