Scope 

The Urb-IoT conference aims to explore the dynamics within the scope of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the new science of cities. Urb-IoT 2018 is the 3rd edition of this conference, after two successful events in Rome (2014) and Tokyo (2016).

In 2018, Urb-IoT is a co-located conference to 4th annual Smart City 360˚Summit, providing even more opportunities for networking and exchange of novel ideas on smart cities.

Other co-llocated events are:  
SMARTGOV 2018, Future5V 2018, GreeNets 2018, MobilityIoT 2018, Intetain 2018, INTSYS 2018,HealthyIoT 2018, and MindCare 2018, taking place in Guimarães, Portugal from November 21 to November 23. 

We are pleased to invite you to submit your paper to Urb-IoT 2018. They should be in English, following the Springer formatting guidelines (see Initial Submission). 

Call for Papers

In addition to full/short papers, we also have poster/demonstration session in the conference. Poster/Demonstration papers must not exceed three (3) pages with the same format of the regular papers, and will also be reviewed by the Program Committee.


Publication

All registered papers will be submitted for publication in Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.

All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast track of:

EAI Endorsed Transactions on Internet of Things
EAI Endorsed Transactions on Smart Cities


Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).
