A PhD position is available at the Department of Psychology, School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Oldenburg, Germany. The appointment is available immediately for three years.


PhD position (65% of full time German TV-L E13, 3 years).


We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with an above average academic university degree in psychology, cognitive science or a related field and good skills in oral and written English and German. Advanced knowledge in at least one the following fields is required: Analyses of neuroimaging data or excellent programming skills. Work experience with patients is a plus.


The candidate will collect MRI and neuropsychological data in patients with brain tumors and perform advanced MRI analyses (structural and functional connectivity, task-related analyses). The project will be conducted in an interdisciplinary collaborative research consortium of the Department of Psychology and the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology / Oncology. The Department of Psychology offers access to state-of-the-art brain imaging (MRI, NIRS, EEG and MEG), and computational facilities.
