Subject: RGS-IBG 2018: launch event

Dear Patricia,

I was wondering if you'd mind sending an invite round the members of the Race, Culture and Equality Working Group about an event I'm involved in at this years RGS?

The message to read something like:

As members of the Race, Culture and Equality Working Group, you are warmly invited to the Bristol University Press launch party for the new ‘Spaces and Practices of Justice’ book series (editors: Dr Agatha Herman and Dr Andy Davies, https://bristoluniversitypress.co.uk/spaces-and-practices-of-justice), and Mary Gilmartin et al’s new book ‘Borders, Mobility and Belonging’ (http://policypress.co.uk/resources/kara-creative/borders-mobility-and-belonging-in-the-era-of-brexit-and-trump).

Drinks, nibbles and activities in Waterloo Tea House (21-25 Wyndham Arcade) on Thursday 30th August, 18:45-20:00 (all details on http://conference.rgs.org/AC2018/255).

For the book series, we'd be really keen to develop some books around the issues the working group is engaged with and I hope that this might be a space to start some of these conversations.

Best wishes,

Agatha
