Our client, a prestigious scientific society based in central London are looking to appoint a Global Marketing Manager.
The society publishes scientific content and research and then sells subscriptions of this content globally, working closely with the Global Sales Manager, together you
will be responsible for building on, retaining and growing subscription sales across the globe.
You will use a number of creative marketing activities such as email marketing, blogging, social media. Positioning the content and company as a thought leader, your writing
skills must be top notch as must your creative output and ideation!
You will also be responsible for the reporting of ROI and analytics so experience using Google Analytics is really important.
And lastly, you will be responsible for maintaining the CRM system so data management is really key here too.
What makes this role unique? You are given complete autonomy over the marketing function and strategy for the publishing department within this organisation. You will be the go to expert in marketing within this team and so therefore we are looking for someone
who is going to be excited by this, but also be able to demonstrate an level of expertise and gravitas within marketing.
You will ideally come from or have a knowledge of the Academic library market or Research bodies or an in-depth knowledge in subscription marketing. You will also ideally
have a marketing qualification or comparable experience within a professional role.
