*PhD position in Theoretical Chemistry in the group of Prof. Leticia
González at the University of Vienna*

A position for a PhD student is available to start immediately in the group
of Leticia González within the newly established Priority Program “Light
controlled reactivity of metal complexes” (www.spp2102.uni-mainz.de),
funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Within this project, quantum
chemical and ab initio molecular dynamics (using the group code SHARC) of
several transition metal complexes will be studied, in close cooperation
with experimental (inorganic and spectroscopic) partners as well as other
theoreticians.

Candidates should have a university master degree in Chemistry, Physics or
related discipline, a strong background in Theoretical/Computational
Chemistry and interest in inorganic chemistry. Abilities to work in a team
and be willing to collaborate with other PhD students of the Priority
Program are indispensable. You also need excellent English abilities.

If you are interested to work in a vibrant international group and in one
of the most livable cities of the world, please send your application to
Prof. Dr. Leticia González ([log in to unmask]), with a
motivation letter, a CV, a copy of transcript of records and the contact
details of two references. Applications will be received until position is
filled.

The University of Vienna is an equal opportunity employer. Applications
from women are strongly encouraged. Further information about our research
group can be found at www.theochem.univie.ac.at.
