Collections Manager, University of Sussex Library
Hours: full-time 
Contract: permanent  
Salary: starting at £39,992 and rising to £47,722 per annum

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and innovative information professional to join our team in a new role which will be responsible for the management and development of the Library’s collections, including the University’s Special Collections held at The Keep. Please note that this post has previously been advertised. 

You will provide leadership and management to the Collection Development Team and the Special Collections Team to ensure a consistently excellent service both at the Library and The Keep. You will work closely with other Library units and The Keep Partners to deliver these services, and collaborate with academic and external organisations to deliver collection-related projects. 

It is essential that you have demonstrable leadership and management skills, significant experience of collection management within a library context, and a good understanding of current trends relating to the delivery of library and archive services and collection care, and the wider landscape of higher education.
