Primary Research Group, www.Primaryresearch.com, is seeking a librarian/author to write a monograph of approximately 9,000 words on academic library programs to foster use of bibliometrics and altmetrics.  Authors have a great deal of scope to develop their own subject areas of interest. The report should include a minimum of 4 detailed interviews with academic libraries. At least one library should be in the USA. The profiles should give some sense of how libraries developed their programs, their criteria for personnel selection, and how they funded and developed their programs.  Among the many issues that might be discussed include but are not limited to:  evaluating bibliometric and altmetric measures, information literacy efforts In these measures, and assessment of the size and needs of the end user population. The report will also include a  literature review with detailed author commentary and bibliography. This is a compensated assignment.   Send your resume with cover letter to [log in to unmask]
