Further to Robert's web reference, I have saved the file and attached it here. It contains a lot of information about Platonov, and about Robert Chandler himself, all of which is of interest. All in Russian btw. There is one absolutely stunning photograph, (the first set of graduates from a "factory-plant-college" arranged on a huge locomotive), among others, and, if you go to the web, you can play a 10 minute cartoon film from one of Platonov's short stories. Open the attachment as landscape to see more of the photos. These can probably be extracted and put in your picture files.
