On a personal note.
Prior to start date and getting paid I am happy to:
Read policies & procedures
Do online training (at a pinch - if only because experience tells me it can be a pain on arrival and you sit around for two days waiting for access to be sorted by IT)
Any suggestion that I do 'real' work would be a resounding NO.
