Dear all,
Swedish Society for Anthropology and Geography (SSAG) is happy to announce the inaugural issue of its new journal kritisk etnografi: Swedish Journal of Anthropology – an English language journal which we believe will be of interest to many members of this list.

The issue (available now) contains articles by Didier Fassin, Margaret Lock, Thomas Hylland Eriksen and Ulf Hannerz, and an introduction by the editors Sten Hagberg and Jörgen Hellman.

Kritisk etnografi (critical ethnography in English) is peer-reviewed, online and freely available, for more information please visit http://kritisketnografi.se/

Please find invitation to the launching festivities (15 August, Stockholm University) on this link: http://ssag.se/launching-kritisk-etnografi-swedish-journal-of-anthropology/

SSAG has a long and stable history of academic publishing with Geografiska Annaler, Series A and Series B (now with Taylor and Francis) celebrating volume 100 this year. For more info, see https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rgab20/current. In Swedish, SSAG publishes Ymer since 1881, see http://ymer.bokorder.se/sv-se (Digitial version available free from 2012.)

Most welcome!
Best,
Thomas Borén, Chair SSAG
