Knowledge Transfer Researcher

Part-time, fixed-term for 1 year

Salary (Grade R1): pro rata of £31,102 to £40,999 pa incl. London Weighting

Applications are invited for a Knowledge Transfer Researcher to work on 'Creative Interruptions', a three year international project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s (AHRC) ‘Connected Communities’ programme (2016 - 2019). This large consortia project will explore how disenfranchised communities have used cultural production to challenge inequality and oppression. Based at Brunel University London, you will work with and provide support to a large team of researchers led by Professor Sarita Malik (Principal Investigator - PI), with Co-Investigators from the University of Sussex, Sheffield Hallam University, Queen’s University Belfast and University of Strathclyde.

You should have prior experience of conceptualising and creating both academic and cultural sector impact through large-scale, multi-partner programmes. You should have deep knowledge and experience of Impact agendas in HEI along with well-developed cultural and policy sector networks. You should have organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent communication skills, with the capacity to lead, motivate, negotiate and facilitate. You will have a high degree of computer literacy. The successful candidate will, desirably, hold a doctorate in a related discipline.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated, independent and professional individual to manage the impact of this complex, inter-disciplinary project that researches creativity, social exclusion and the arts.

Informal enquiries should be directed to Daisy Hasan by email: [log in to unmask]
