Good morning all,

 

We have a Blackboard Help tab that we currently use to provide links to help resources, turnitin status and our knowledgebase.  I’ve been tasked with revamping it, and while I have some ideas of what I’d like to keep, add and remove, I was wondering what you do at your institution. 

 

I’m looking for things such as:

1)      Do you use Blackboard for this sort of thing or do you use something else?  If so, what do you use?

2)      Do you have a different interface for staff and students?

3)      Are your help pages static or do you update them regularly according to what the current demand is, for example, enrolment information in September/October and January and information about Turnitin submissions around end of October/beginning of November etc?

4)      Do you use your help resources solely for Blackboard or do you use them for other core tools that you support at your institution?

5)      What content would you say that your academics (and students!)  find most useful?

 

If others are interested in this, then I’d be happy to collate responses and feed back to the list.
