A Celebration of Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-1797), Saturday 27 April 2019. On the 260th anniversary of Mary Wollstonecraft’s birth, take part in a celebration of her life, her writings and her legacy. There will be discussion of new research, significance for feminism today, and plans for a Wollstonecraft Society, as well as walking tours of Georgian Bloomsbury. Activists, enthusiasts, students and scholars - ALL WELCOME. Institute of English Studies, Woburn Room, Senate House, London 10 am – 5 pm.
