An active research program involving field studies is a requirement for this position. The successful candidate is expected to work with graduate students in developing research projects and have a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. Duties include teaching courses, advising students, conducting sponsored research, writing for publication, and university service. / /Applications should consist of a curriculum vitae, a cover letter describing ongoing research and teaching interests, and the names and contact information of three referees.
