Do you want to learn more about how Real World Evidence is used in drug development?

If so, on the 18th September PSI are running an event in Germany @Lilly Germany with leading experts sharing their approaches and experience on this topic. The event will be of interest to statisticians new to this area who want to start building their knowledge but also to statisticians who want to hear about different approaches and cases studies to enhance their knowledge portfolio.

Areas covered will include:
Indirect comparisons with and without adjustment for patient characteristics and related approaches @Sarah Böhme (Pfizer),@ David Phillippo (University Bristol)
Generalizability of clinical trial data into real life settings @Yann Ruffieux (University Bern), @Alan Brnabic (Lilly)
Cross-design approaches combining observational and clinical trial data Mark Belger (Lilly), Keith Abrams (University Leicester)
A number of breakout events and a panel discussion will give an opportunity to discuss informally each of the areas and case studies with each of the expert speakers. You will be able to ask questions on how each of these approaches can be applied in clinical trials and share experiences on how Real World Evidence can enhance the drug development process.

During the event there will be opportunities to network with speakers and other attendees from across the pharmaceutical industry and academia, helping you get the most out of your time out of the office.

Cost to event is £40 for existing PSI members and £135 for Non-PSI members (this includes free PSI membership for the remainder of 2018).

Places are limited to 60 in total. Currently the number of confirmed attendees is over 40. If you are interested please do not delay registering to avoid disappointment!
