I worked on projects with this company in the past in a previous role as a paper conservator. (Pre 2011).

Well the stuff that is not on dvd as video is text based paper reports and transcripts I believe.

Cheers

Hi, Judith,

Off the top of my head, I know Cornell offers a digitization service. https://data.research.cornell.edu/content/digital-consulting-production-services-dcaps

Best,

Amy

Hi everyone

I was wondering if anyone had cause to consider the problem of longitudinal studies that started many years ago, when the idea of managing data, physical space and being digital was very much not on the agenda. Such studies can have literally cabinets of data and good reason to keep it. Not least because they wish is to comply with a funder who they want to continue funding the study.

The problem is twofold, lack of facility to digitise and lack of space if you do not!

Has anyone come across this problem?

Has anyone found a solution?

It occurs to me that some institutions may offer a digitisation service? Rather than just guidance.

Regards

Judith
