New MA Media and Creative Cultures
Full-time and part-time from October 2018
The MA Media and Creative Cultures programme is aimed at graduates and professionals who are interested in exploring themes of identity, power, aesthetics and creation of meaning in
contemporary media cultures.
Modules include:
- Aesthetic Economy: Fashion, Media and Subcultures
- Digital Activism
- Race, Class, Gender and Media
- Research Methods in a Cultural
Context
- Dissertation
Programmes highlight:
- Teaching by leading academics and digital artists with an emphasis on independent learning in a research-led environment
- Regular research trips to cultural organisations in London
- Diversity of assessments – from vlogs and Instagram posts to creative diaries
