A cheap, rootable Android device can do all of this; a few tweaks to the OS and you can lock it down to only the web site / apps you want (a lot of specialist devices will be just this).

Subject: Audio guide devices

Hi all

For an upcoming exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, we are exploring the possibility of having audio guide devices available for the public to borrow.

They need to run a modern HTML5 website, output to headphones and be manageable en masse.

Are there any solutions that you use and like? Or any you have seen in use?

With thanks!
