With apologies for cross-posting

This visit is aimed primarily at graduate trainees and others exploring a career in special collections librarianship or archives.

It will take place on Wednesday 1 August 2018 between 2.30 and 4.30pm.

Katie Flanagan (Special Collections Librarian) and Mandy Mordue (Head of Archives and Records Management) will be giving an insight into their roles. There will also be a chance to visit both the special collections and archives reading rooms. This event will be a really good chance to learn about working in different types of special collections or archives.

Places for the event are free but limited to 20 and must be booked online

The first part of the afternoon will take place in Brunel University Library, which is in the Bannerman Centre, Brunel University, Kingston Ln, Uxbridge UB8 3PH (directions here), continuing at Brunel University Archives, a short distance from the campus (approx. ten minute walk).

Please note: I work Mon – Wed each week.
